I have a DNR exactly for this purpose. There’s not a whole lot you can argue if the decedent has a valid will. It also removes pressure from loved ones that will ultimately be forced to deal with the leftovers.

I’m kinda going through a phase right now-fiance and I broke up not long ago. So I’ve been flirting with who shall only be referred to as the hot fetus. Anyway, dude is 21 to my 35 but he’s ALL about pictures! I keep having to slap his phone away because making out/hooking up never looks as sexy as some people think.
My first thought was how much that looks like a sniper’s getup.
I’m glad you enjoyed it :). Nazim Hikmet spent nearly 30 years both in prison and exile for his political beliefs. He was a communist sympathizer (Russians, not the Nazis) that just wanted to appreciate the feel of sunlight and the taste of apples.
I have a book of poetry by Nazim Hikmet - a Turkish poet that was popular back in the earlier 20th century. He posts a letter his wife wrote him. One of my favorite passages is her talking about mixing their cremated ashes and she says:
You can only really hurt someone that is worse off than you. Anything else you do is just ‘punching up’.
I think Thiel is more about the billions than about actually endorsing Trump and his comments. He’s in a whole different league. Wealthy people want to stay wealthy.
Ok, you got me laughing here. Fair enough!
Wow, that’s a whole new level of nuts.
It’s not called a hangup when it’s an expected form of social interaction. Avoiding eye contact and refusing basic greetings is not only rude but disrespectful.
These are the same people that would be up in arms about someone in a position of privilege refusing to acknowledge/make eye contact/talk to someone ‘beneath’ them.
Hahahaha. The conflation of a denied basic right to a form of greeting humans have is just silly.
Humans need to form hierarchy and associations. Removing things like handshakes takes away a very strong signal we all send to each other upon meeting.
Here’s where I disagree. Kids are not adults in baby bodies-they are kids. Parents trying to ‘friend’ and act as if they are fully functioning adults straight out of the womb is a disservice.
I have no opinion on how other people feel/want to be raised. I do distinctly being very young, maybe 5 years old? And hearing my mother say to a friend of hers that he shouldn’t try to say hi to me because I was shy. So I could just ignore him.
I travel. A shit ton. Workers making $600 USD a month are ecstatic. That doesn’t mean I think anyone should be taken advantage of. But this whole idea that everyone needs to be paid 50k a year is nuts. The whole system would collapse. Or the price of everything else would rise.
Yeah, I can’t rally against this without being a hypocrite. Where I live the ‘help’ staff gets paid about $300 a month. Good income for them, less than what myself and others get paid in a day.
I was raped by a man in his 20s when I was 12. I found out his family testified against me saying I was a tease and always messing with his head. These were not strangers, they were people I’d spent a couple of years with having sleepovers and Halloween/birthday parties with. They couldn’t or wouldn’t realize their…
I’m confused as to why she’s laying the blame at Subway for not enforcing the law instead of, you know, cops?
I loved this episode but I have a problem with the tone of trying to make people seem ‘closeted’ for not wanting to partake with any specific gender/orientation.
