Ahh, so a couple weeks. Thanks!
How can we get AV Club to dump Kinja and go back to Disqus?
You can argue that they may be overrated, but they are still a consistently fantastic band that happens to be very popular.
That’s also the climax of Donkey Kong.
TAKE THE FUCKING ELEPHANT
it’s not the job of the consumer to be in the business of every business that serves their consumption
BONG
Please, the two of them have so much chemistry that they’re like Walter White in here.

Hell yes to I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings. Their From the Basement albums for In Rainbows and The King of Limbs are really great, too. Especially King of Limbs: From the Basement. The renditions of those songs are so different and beautifully organic but just as complex. “Bloom” is sheer bliss.
If it hasn’t been mentioned already, DJ Shadow’s In Tune & On Time (2004) is one of the best live albums I’ve heard.
Layla is more iconic, but give me “Then He Kissed Me” from *THE* tracking shot going into the Copa. One of my favorite scenes ever.
I know “Layla” is the more iconic and well known scene in Goodfellas, but I like Harry Nilsson’s “Jump into the Fire” the best. I love how it starts with the opening drum beat over the title card showing the date and time, then cuts to Ray Liotta snorting a line of coke and hauling a grocery bag full of handguns out…
Isn’t Jimmy recognized as one of the greatest living drummers?
Yeah, how dare an actor try to act like somebody he’s not.
If you kids are that bad, I think you are doing something wrong and shouldn’t bring them out in public.
Huh? Oh, you guys are talking about Adam Quardero.
I would be too, if I were Quincy Jones...I’d be full of myself for only having Rashida Jones come out of my penis.
