Without a doubt — or just dealers strong-armed into “buying” them while they collect dust on the lots. Or fleets. That said, XT6 is better imo than the hideous new dead-on-arrival CT5 and clunky XT4.

The book American Icon talked about how the company faced a huge issue with management hiding defects and problems found during product design.  So it’s entirely possible that he wasn’t made aware of the issue until it was too late.
