It’s not straight mustard, dammit, it’s mustard-based sauce (often called Carolina gold) and it’s delicious. I say this as someone who never lived in the Carolinas.

Even if I don’t care how dumb it looks, this stood out: “...making them a danger to anyone outside the truck, including pedestrians...”
This is insanity. Sapphires aren’t going to be widespread because of the cost, but there are soon going to be a bunch of drivers who have never driven anything faster than an Accord running around in 600HP cars.
I’ve done that once at a small airport where the jetway was out of service and it felt unnatural.
Right there with you, and makes sense. The idea of the steering oar being on the right, and so the ship needed to dock on the left (not just easier to turn to the right, I have to assume the oar would have been in the way as well) is something that would never have occurred to me.
He now boards from a different (lower) set of stairs to reduce that risk, or at least move it inside AF1 and out of sight.
I can handle things! I’m smart!
Looks like LMM is doing original songs for this one as well.
A stone (haha) classic that I can’t believe doesn’t get more airplay these days. Douglas and Turner’s charisma and easy chemistry were off the charts.
Kaufman never had near the cultural impact that Williams did, plus his uniqueness was of a quieter variety. Williams was a dervish and anyone trying to portray his manic energy would probably look silly by comparison.
Fair.
Precisely.
If I’m going to watch a Costner western it’s going to be Silverado or Open Range, thank you very much.
Possible that the success of Fallout actually helps Badlands, otherwise this will look like really bad timing.
Yeah I made a similar comment in the “May looks light” article last week. I haven’t seen the recent ones but most accounts are positive and they clearly make money. I’ll give the authors the benefit of the doubt that they mean it’s surprising the resurrected franchised survived after the early misfires.
Shows what a modicum of effort can deliver. Hopefully Kinja’s next.
I’ll go out on a limb and say that was meant tongue-in-cheek.
Hopefully Garfield appreciates it similarly.
Who in their right mind would want to be cast as Williams. It’s a hopeless undertaking.
It’s both disappointing and unsurprising that Shore still has the same vocabulary and delivery that he did in his “heyday.”
