There are a couple of roads near my house that I just won’t get on after about 10PM, especially on a weekend. One is a six-land surface street where cars just meander back and forth across lanes.

There’s probably some buckshot damage to that red car that had body parts rained all over it, but how much did she miss it by - maybe a foot??
I was more concerned about the 11 people who starred it.
Yeah, remember this one from not that long ago. Also 100+ and drunk in a Porsche...
Was, anyway. Can you imagine this story being fed through today’s AVC snark machine?
It’s because Lawrence leaned way too hard into trying to cultivate that cool girl image, implying she was really just some schlubby dork who fell ass-backwards into an acting career through no real fault (or effort) of her own. People saw through that pretty quickly, given she’d been acting since childhood.
Crowe took grief for his singing, especially since he had that side-hustle band for a while so you’d think he’s have a bit of talent, but it was mostly good-natured. I think it’s right that the knocks on Hathaway as some sort of annoying try-hard started around this time but I doubt anyone could really say why.
So glad they went with McGregor over Branaugh, who would have been the predictable choice (delivering a predictable performance). I like Kenny fine but there’s such thing as enough of a specific character type.
Or the insurance companies eventually refuse to write new policies, like you see with property insurance in areas with high storm or other event risk.
Yeah but the post-Civil War era approach to policing rail lines was just shooting the looters. Unless we’re going back to that, which we’re obviously not, then how it’s policed needs to reflect modern reality. If Newsom didn’t think there was any state responsibility then why did he pledge more dollars to fight the…
Apparently it was evil, so...hell?
I generally felt that was about McCarthy until Spy, which turned her stereotype on its head to great effect (and did the opposite with Statham with an equally great outcome).
The idea that there’s Ghostbusters “lore” is amusing to me. Really??
Show me the lie.
And bothered to write a script. The original was tight, even if admittedly silly. There wasn’t much throw-away. 2016 felt like “well these are all funny and experienced comedians, so let’s just put them in situations and let them riff.”
Especially when you line him up with the rest of the original cast.
Now that would be a resource.
I can’t imagine there are any metrics from the G/O sites that a potential buyer would find appealing.
Finally saw The H0ldovers this weekend and he crushed it as usual. Movie was every bit as good as advertised.
Yeah it seems like an intimacy coordinator-type advocate should be present on any set or behind the scenes with child actors, musicians, etc. Look at girls like Spears and Lohan who were basically piggybanks for parents who clearly didn’t have their children’s interests at heart.
