I need to know, too! For a friend.

I saw a guy getting a speeding ticket the other day, and I said to myself, “Goddammit, why are the cops enforcing some dumb traffic law instead of arresting Trump?!” True story.

Yeah, I think I’m going to have to side with The State on this one as many others have. I see it like this:

I agree. Many of those who are condemning law enforcement in this instance get pissed off when they find that businesses are flouting environmental laws. If you vote for a government with a strong EPA or FDA, you can’t complain if these regulations occasionally seem burdensome.

Well, the world will keep turning after Tuesday and maintaining a safe food supply is one of the more important jobs of our government, so I guess that’s why.

She picked the wrong krill to die on.

I’m going to be annoying but there is a reason there are food safe laws. I’m not saying this woman’s ceviche is going to make you sick, but selling food that you make in your standard kitchen cannot be guaranteed safe.

What is this from, do you know? It’s adorable!

It also bothered me but it sounds like the deputy was very emotional about what he saw, so I’ll give it a pass.

Does anyone else work with illness and break martyrs? I was doctor ordered to stay home for two days because of conjunctivitis, which is super contagious and I work with the public (one of whom probably infested me in the first place). This backed up on to my rare two days off together. So now I’m just waiting to get

Who’s up for some pets? ;)

I’m sick :( but my husband made carrot ginger soup from scratch, took care of the kids so I could sleep all afternoon, and is currently taking out all the garbage that has accumulated due to me being ill.

Not sure I want to serve as scapegoat for someone’s unhappiness with their job. There’s a baseline of common courtesy I expect while doing business with strangers in the public sector. Whether they like their job or not.

I can’t believe the other penguins just stand around doing virtually nothing. I guess a few of them got their phones out and started filming, but that doesn’t really do anything about the immediate problem. It’s really sad, a sign that our society is going down the drain.

You’ve been waiting eighty-six years to play that card. Kudos.

I don’t pretend to know the whole story here, but what a bitch.

I lost my first husband when I was 32. Numb slog is a perfect description. I cried hysterically the first day, after they took his body away, then I just shifted into going through the motions. It was about a year before I got back to mostly functioning. Three years before I didn’t tear up when I thought about him.

Up until that point, I had never understood that messages could be delivered without words.
