The Blake Griffin trade is basically a perfect example of who the coach/GM thing doesn’t work. GM Van Gundy made a trade that wasn’t in the long term interests of the team, because coach Van Gundy was probably going to get canned if he didn’t make the playoffs this year.

I will watch the 8th or 9th innings of a close playoff game, because there’s so much tension that it’s interesting. That’s about it though, I don’t think I’ve ever stuck it out through an entire game on TV without getting distracted by something or other.
