I was just about to look up where Kandiyohi County was... but to anyone outside of Minnesota anywhere within a 3-4 hour drive of Minneapolis may as well be downtown Minneapolis.

You are assuming they were taught at all. If it wasn’t for a girlfriend in HS that taught me since there was only on street parking available when I went to visit her I wouldn’t have learned until I was out of college and nearly married.
