you’ve never been to Iowa I take it.
That is why I don’t trust the likes of J.D. Power and Associates...
I’ve had good luck with my 2008 G6. Only one or two recall items had to be addressed along with the expected routine maintenance over the last 7 years and nearly 65,000 miles.
You forgot the part in “the aftermath” where you trade in the car... at least, that’s what we did.
Somewhere between 400 and 450 miles. I’m not sure b/c I never set foot in the dealership to purchase our 2012 VW Routan.
Yes, and then some but I am not in the position to make those types of decisions.
Where I work we can’t get enough people in to keep our machining centers running as much as we need them too. Every person that comes out of the local trade schools are snapped up at the time of (if not before) graduation. Though, our issue is that we don’t pay them a decent wage to interest them in the first place…
more along the lines of Funai or Funco... but yes, you make a valid point.
That bike is more setup for downhill, so I will agree with you on not wanting to commute on it. However, there are plenty of bikes available that are properly setup for commuting available on the market and I wouldn’t consider either a child’s toy. Exercise equipment, perhaps, but not a toy.
Sounds more like Creighton Prep in Omaha.

Should be? SHOULD BE!?!? they always have been garbage.... but they have cars doing cool shit. The penultimate guilty pleasure.
You mean people actually re-position the license plate for those things? I can say I have rarely if ever seen it.
I must admit, you (Steph rather) had my attention when I saw the MT Cayenne under $10K. You (rather Torch) captured my interest when I saw the clean ‘68 Squareback for $5K.
May she Rest in Peace. 2016 can’t be over quick enough.
Came here to say this exact thing.
CP. If the camper was made of Aluminum instead of Stainless it may be worth a bit closer to this amount. The weight penalties alone would suck any joy out of this contraption.
Now I just need to find a flatbed tow truck that has been totaled and presto: Ultimate project car carrier.
I was half expecting an R/C car.... just partially disappointed.
