Yes..awesome. Let’s be real...some of the best moments in car shows are not when the hosts drive the cool cars...It’s when they drive the weird cars. Like in Top Gear when they drove the Reliant Robyn. Or in comedians in cars getting coffee when they drove the Fiat Jolly.
Not sure what happened exactly, but all of a sudden everyone’s as excited about Astros as we are. And we’re loving it.

Yeah. It’s like how the first Top Gear USA didn’t get entertaining until they began chopping out the interview segment and the news (which the UK version did very well, of course, but Adam / Tanner / Rutledge didn’t have the chemistry to pull it off in the first couple of seasons).
I didn’t get why people thought he was supposed to be funny in the first place. He just filled Stig’s role of inserting a couple of throwaway jokes during the power lap.
The competition parts were pretty great.

Between the introduction, the lead up, the “bit” and the stupid James “punchline” it ate up a fair bit of time and was essentially nothing but filler.
At leat the interview was an actual attempt to accomplish something on screen.
I just figured he’s upset about the Spain special. Also the car reviews were good.
The power tests were always pretty good.

There better be a Ford GT in this season. Also yes of course I will watch. Those 3 are like pizza. Even if it’s not the best pizza...it’s still better than not having pizza. And let’s be honest, if they had never left Top Gear, and changed to The Grand Tour format...almost no one would notice (except of course…
