My son did EXACTLY this. He drive the doors off the ‘06 Altima he got from his grandmother... He found a very clean 2013 G37 for $12k and is in love with it. I’m a bit jealous he has the fastest car in the family now.

I think the bigger problem is he knew that taking your foot off the brake of an autmatic does nothing unless you put it in D.  But on a manual people usually leave it in gear when it’s powered off.  He hit the clutch, started it and let off, not expecting it to move.

From what I’ve seen lately kids around 16-20 right now have much less incentive to do what the rest of us did from 16-20. Dating, driving, moving out, premarital sex, getting a job, etc. There are a number of reasons.  More time spent on tictok than where you’d meet the opposite sex.  Cost of living.  Lack of a need…

More like I spent 10 years not in the grey because of my interesting/funny/not-hate-speech but just one comment pointing out some liberal hipocracy Kristin had and I’m back in the grey.  Or it may not have even been a political view, just pointing out some writer BS in general.
