I live in Columbia, a few miles south of the old Saturn plant in spring hill TN. Now it’s a GM/Caddilac plant. Not sure what they’re making these days, but I do know on my way to work a new parking has sprung up and it quickly filled up with brand new GM SUVs.

The guy was bragging about how he was rich and wouldn’t get in trouble. It was pretty obvious the one say that was also saying he was the driver. He COULD have contested it, but it sounds like he had diarrhea mouth. They read him is Miranda rights but he seemed hell bent on getting himself in as much trouble that day…

He never caught up with him.  I read somewhere else. The cop had his tag from the early camera footage at the light. They just drove to his house and there he was. Had him open the garage and it was confirmed.

and I think the real lesson here is that pre-production vehicles with no other camouflage but placeholder taillights should bear obvious markings like WARNING: TAILLIGHT DESIGN NOT FINALIZED to prevent this manner of fiasco in the future.
