Until Threads is more than just a phone app, it’s not going to compete with Twitter. I’m probably an outlier, but until I can access Threads in my laptop browser (or iPad, via either browser or app), I’m not going to spend much time with it.

Yeah, I’m not going to pay thousands extra just because Bill Ford is less of an asshole than Elon Musk. I mean, I’m not in the market for an electric car right now anyway, but price is always going to be a factor.

You can buy a base Mach-E with like 220 miles of range for $5K under MSRP, but the best deal I see online for a ~300 mile version is still $56K. This is competing with a $50K Model Y. The Ford was overpriced and still not a great deal...

That and the Mach-E was never really a compelling EV in the first place. It had some first mover perks for a while, but now that everyone else has caught up, it’s overpriced and uncompetitive.

Weren’t dealers marking these up months ago when they first became available? I’m sure those people that refused to pay markup bought a Tesla or Hyundai/Kia EVs. You reap what you sow, dealers. People do remember being wronged, and are unlikely to do business with shady dealers again. Actions have consequences. Deal

Dealers getting everything they deserve.  The markups were ridiculous and consumers finally whittled down to the ones that decided “nah...don’t really need one so I give up”.

I was already sold on this movie but the costume is just... *chefs kiss*

Now give me the mask.

Looks cool. Someone should do like, an anime of it or something.

It’s not too late for Marvel to pivot to their big bad being Stilt Man.

The fact you put New Super Mario Bros. DS near the bottom of the list tells me I don’t need to read the rest of it. I loved that game when it came out and I still do.

Holy shit, I can’t believe I’m seeing the Rule Against Perpetuities used in real life, and reported on in a Kotaku article no less! It was the bane of many a first-year property law student and has been abolished or replaced with something slightly less nonsensical in many jurisdictions. Nice to see it’s alive and

Even if this does go to the Supreme Court, that’s a year or two down the line.

So if I just pack some weed-killer, I should be fine against any rampaging rose-monsters?

I love it. These right wing chuds have been doing the same things for decades and are now clutching their pearls on their fainting couches because someone did it against them.

Just watch Roiland pivot hard into the Right wing grifter ecosystem complaining about being ‘cancelled’

If you read the article, I mention the metadata problem and how this new app is based on Primephonic before it was bought by Apple in 2021. Primephonic was putting in the metadata by hand, apparently. We don’t know who Apple Classical will shape out, and it’s a question of why it needs to be a separate app, but I

Such a professional job without a plan of what to do with the cars afterwards
