I was wondering about that as well. At every well child appointment, my kids have had their genitals looked at. I guess the doctor can look and not say or note anything specific? Or maybe they plan on skipping that part of the exams? what would happen if they needed genetic tests? Some disorders are sex chromosome…

And no matter how much you discuss it, they never will. I’ve learned it’s a gap that currently can’t be crossed at least not anyway I have tried.

I have to say, everyone’s July 4 celebrations seems relatively low key on my news feed. It’s too hot to go to the celebrations with the baby, and I don’t keep my toddlers up late yet for celebrations, so we are sitting at home about to grill burgers and hot dogs and that’s pretty much it!

I agree. I wish the parents were on board, but sometimes, people will never be on board because they can’t accept that there is no helping their child. I think doctors have said the experimental preocedure won’t help, but the family isn’t listening.

I agree completely. It’s hard. Terribly hard...but if your body can’t keep you alive due to a terminal non curable or treatable disease, then you should not be alive.
