I read it again. And, literally, it doesn’t say that. I don’t see the word petty anywhere in the post. And, I don’t see anything stating that joking about rape is ok.

No one has said rape jokes are petty.

Also the thing is that it might be about rape, but the song is about how that community wont stand for it anymore and are out to catch the rapist! Not advocating rape, not making it seem ok, just a man that is fed up and wants the rapist caught.
