Dave Parker used to kit up like he was playing football.

Not prevent, no, but definitely mitigate. You’re gonna have a bad time if you take a fastball to the face no matter how much protection you’re wearing.

“That slap against the flesh. That’s when you know it’s not good”

What’s going on with Kahne? He is stinking the place up the past few seasons.

aren’t there fines/penalties/suspensions now for any driver walking/running toward cars on track?

So will Danica be penalized for getting out of her car and walking toward the racing surface? That’s been a point of emphasis for NASCAR since Tony Stewart hit that guy during the sprint car race.

Kahne came down a little, Danica slid up a little, contact ensued. So someone ELSE moves up to that 22rd finishing position. Calm down, Danica, it is a racing incident.

How is that an insult? Come on, try harder.

Not relevant....but thanks for playing.

The only way she can win a race is if she is the only driver.

You’re so angry man, it’s ok I can take it. You can put that hate on me, I’ll be your secret confidant.

It’s my business when your stupidity raises both my taxes and my insurance rates. Unless you’re independently rich, someone else is paying for your days in the ER or to scrape your sorry corpse off the road. Sometimes that’s the government, sometimes it’s an insurance company. Either way everyone’s paying for it.

umm ok? I guess Darwin Awards were created for a reason

ERHMAGERD! SERTBERTS!

I can’t believe I’ll have to post it again. But hey, people are that stupid.

If these are not illegal, they should be.

Several months ago, I went to lunch with a coworker. He drove. I rode shotgun. The first thing I did was fasten my seat belt, and he glanced over and said “I guess you don’t trust me.”

My 67 Shelby came with a 4 point belt, Pa. state inspection said none had been tested and I would have to remove it. Shelby had forseen that issue and they were welded in so they couldn’t be removed :)

I had one of those in my old 1G Talon. They weren’t too bad, but I never really understood the benefit, as you still have to manually secure the lap belt. It’s just another motor, adding cost and complexity, simplifying nothing.
