Most ssds do fall in sata 3 range, very few drives max out the 700MB/s read speed. Most high end ssds do about 500MB/s. The fastest ssds that max out sata 3 just use pci-e interfaces.

That ssd has a max read of about 500MB/s, the ps3 uses sata 1 so it could only handle roughly 160MB/s of that.

This and the fact that the ps3 uses sata 1 so it can only support up to 160MB/s and wouldn't take advantage of most ssd speeds. It just doesn't seem worth the cost.

BF3's a lot easier. The vehicles repair themselves and have unlimited ammo, so there is no getting back to base to repair and rearm. The reload mechanics have changed to a simpler system and the commander feature has been removed (as well as voip). Apart from that not much, though the game has more of a bad company…

Yea those speeds are just not available to a lot of people, and are quite pricey.

Firstly, Microsoft wouldn't have sent out the xbox with the hdd intact. When returning an xbox MS says not to include the hard drive in the box and if it is returned to them it gets wiped.
