As a black dude well-versed in the intricacies and vagaries of N-bombs, I can’t say I’ve ever been so tired or upset that I’ve had to shout it in anger even once in my entire life.

This was actually my first instinct, and then I realized pretty quickly while watching Deborah Lacks that there’s always going to be a lot missing in that story. It’ll be incomplete (even the Lacks don’t know her story), so it would essentially be an elaborate cobbled-together fiction about a woman dying of cancer

Nevermind. Responded to the wrong post.

Saw Rick Scott at a news conference once. And he TALKED. JUST. LIKE. THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!

Thinking about Sweat, I immediately thought about a white writer whose work suddenly became highly interesting to studios for development. The race of the writer is less the issue than the fact that it inspired two movies in development: “The Big Short” and “Flash Boys.”

So basically the Mark Fuhrman interviews from “OJ: Made in America” except extended to two hours?

80 hours of Persona 3 and I NEVER beat it. Worse, I bought Persona 4 in anticipation of beating it...

“I’m not white, I’m Canadian.”

To quote Huey from Boondocks: “Jasmine, you’re black.”

Also on /pol/: “I lost an Overwatch match on my Hanzo main... I called SWAT on the other team. Oops.”

Why stop at “not liking the stars and bars?” That’s giving them too much credit.

Wow, this aggressive hate crime perpetuated against a student’s heritage should not have been allowed by the teacher.

Mirror’s Edge and Mirror’s Edge Catalyst are 100% FPS martial arts, to their credit. Catalyst is more complex but the original just pulls it off better.

Reminds me of when China desegregated men’s and women’s archery and immediately women outperformed men. So, of course, they had to immediately resegregate it again to make sure no one would ever see that happen again.

Because Jamie Foxx is cool and Katie Holmes is ready.

I went to my first of those parties when I was 21 and in law school. I looked around and realized, “Good lord, this isn’t how parties are supposed to work! THIS IS NOT HOW PARTIES ARE SUPPOSED TO WORK!”

I’m guessing people’s brains are color-correcting the light wrong. So some people can’t see that the light is warm like florescent light instead of blue like daylight, so they color-correct it yellower or even just leave it the same color it looks (light blue).

Netflix just bought a whole bunch of comedy specials. And then they got rid of their star-rating system. And now suddenly they’re all in the 90+’s for me probably liking them.
