"Was just a pastiche of common horror tropes with a couple very minor jump scares."
Resident Evil

I disagree with that pretty wholeheartedly. I appreciate that the adventure game would lend itself more to the story but part of what works about the first Bioshock, particularly in the first couple chapters, is the immersion of wandering the halls waiting for scary men with hooks to jump out of the rafters and gut

Them plus Scrubs fanatics that just want more Dr. Cox, people who desperately want John C. McGinley to finally get that breakout role, and the groupies of the various c-list actors that pepper this show. Plus your basic horror fans looking for that rare great horror comedy and, I imagine, Todd and the Book of Pure

"Maybe if we give it more time it will be good someday." said IFC, echoing the sentiment of every single Stan Against Evil viewer.

Puff the Magic Dragon is a treacly overly-sentimental song that never fails to wreck me each and every time I hear it. I have no earthly idea why but when it comes around to the last verse my inner child learns that there's no Santa Claus and that he and everyone he knows and loves will die. So not sad,

Not just that, but the creator of Swamp Thing actually roomed with the creator of Man-Thing during the time they were working on the characters.

Making Mike Pence feel sad, I suppose? Basically what they're supposed to do is serve as a distraction until the nation forgets that our president-elect just settled a multi-million dollar fraud lawsuit.

As someone who was a tween and watched internet videos in 2008 I sharply disagree.

I guess I should've added "but without the added edge of obvious substance abuse"

Welp, I'm sold.

Oh, I was just focusing on it being a bad bad bad bad bad bad movie (I referenced an old movie, that makes me a writing genius just like Rob Zombie!)

I've never heard about that movie, but having now looked it up I have to ask. Is it Moby Dick with tanks? Because that has the perfect stupid-to-genius ratio to get my attention.

+It's got a real Outpost/Dog Soldiers vibe
+I love a good siege movie
+Ben Wheatley's involved
-It's got a real The Squad vibe
-Cheap digital camera-work is always a stumbling block no matter how good your movie might be
-Ben Wheatley's producer credit is so prominently featured that I fear this might be a "Wes Craven

That is remarkably close to being the actual plot.

I just watch Natural Born Killers and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 instead. I get the same experience but I don't have to deal with Sherri Moon's awful acting, watch that cringeworthy scene where Zombie explains all the Marx brothers references, or listen to terrible terrible dialogue such as "tootie fucking

That is pretty much the plot in a nutshell, though. I mean, obviously there's a lot more to the fantasy element but that's best experienced in the moment.

I didn't play those games but a friend of mine who is a Bone fanatic did and his only response when I asked him about the quality was "Stupid STUPID voice actors!"

Yeah, it's why I didn't feel too sorry when the show was cancelled. Besides, if you're going to cull members of the Reno 911 squad why on Earth would you pick those two? Aside from Lennon and Garant they were the two most valuable cast members.

Because, while it's a social faux-pas to mention that someone has gained weight it's largely considered to be perfectly fine or even expected to talk about weight loss. "So, I noticed you're not a giant disgusting cow anymore. What's up with that?"
