First car I've seen where even the original looks like a Chinese knockoff. If an Audi Q7 and an MKS got married, and their kid inherited the worst characteristics of both, you would get this.

I should have been more specific - VLC for Windows XP, not Linux. My system is 3 years old and was medium-spec when I got it, and I just did a total restore on it a few weeks ago, so it's pretty clean. The problems I had w/VLC include hangs, crashes, and video glitches. The VLC UI is also pretty ugly. I don't seem to

I'm beginning to take LH's recommendations on software with a huge grain of salt - first promoting VLC which when I tried it turned out to be very buggy and ugly compared to my old trusty standby MPC, now another piece of software that sounds good but doesn't deliver when you try it.

I've been using Media Player Classic/K-Lite Codec Pack on XP for a while, but after reading this post I decided to try VLC. I was not impressed - although VLC does start up faster, it was plagued by crashes, hangs and rendering glitches - things I don't experience with MPC and K-Lite. So I've gone back to them for now.

Another scheduled shut down utility with every feature under the sun is Sleepy. www.sleepysoftware.com

No, you are not the only one who thinks the first Transformers sucked. I'm sure this trailer pretty much shows all the good parts - so you can skip spending $12 to catch swine flu while eating popcorn soaked in artificial butter.

@admoseremic: You know, I was thinking it looked like a car from the old British show U.F.O., wasn't that also by the same group that did Thunderbirds?
