That's not what they're for.

Especially true about the shot of the prison. That will have no real impact on people who haven't read the comic.

That isn't actually Herschel's kid. That the boyfriend of his other daughter.

He was doing that while everybody was supposed to working on fortifying the farm, so my best guess is that he was building a lookout platform. (And the "metal tower" did have some wooden crossbeams.)

That's because Dale's death was surprising, but Shane's death was just overdue. It's not like anybody DIDN'T see that the character was heading towards a fight to the death with Rick.

Well, they have said walkers smell really bad. Now you know why.

Lori can't watch Carl. She's busy doing everybody's laundry because Andrea STILL won't help her.

I'm also not convinced that Jenner said anything as direct as "all dead people become walkers." If he had, Rick would have told somebody.

Maybe Rick honestly thought Shane could outshoot him? After all, Shane is the guy he put in charge of firearm instruction for the others.

Yes, judging by that scene (and a preview clip on AMC's website), there is LITERALLY a crowd of zombies a few hundred yards behind Rick and Shane during their confrontation, that doesn't start walking towards them until the SECOND gunshot.

I assume you're implying Carl was going to shoot Rick because Rick killed Shane?

What's the point of giving Carl the talk? Ain't no girls left for him!

That was just the writers hitting their dumbest viewers over the head with what was happening.

Yep, there's even a shot that FOCUSES ON THE HOUSE immediately after Carl shoots Zombie Shane. Carl is standing in front of a fence the whole scene. It's like the director wanted to emphasize how dumb the situation was.

Honestly, judging by some of the commenter here and at other websites, many of their viewers ARE that dumb.

Come to think of it, why was the walker still hungry after chowing down on a half-ton steer?

I'm with you on that one. There's A LOT of over-the-top stuff in the comics that will look ridiculous if directly transferred to TV. Cannibals? Cage fights? Ninja swords and zombies on leashes? They put all that on TV, and it's going to chase away the non-fanboys.

Walkers starving to death would explain a lot, like the car corpses (walkers that starved to death because walkers are too dumb to open car doors) and the "sleeping walkers" (almost starved walkers, waiting for food to walk by, maybe).
