Actually, it’s simpler than that. Most people don’t follow politics. As such, when dipshit says he built the wall, they believe him. Who is to contradict him? They would have to dig deeper. None do.

The current party’s composition is fascinating to me. It is a coalition of horrible racists, rich people, religious end-days cultist fanatics, and scared white people.

2nd Gear: It’s really very simple why Chump still has support.

If all Biden does is not lie and try to do a competent job without the vengeance, narcissism, and hostility, he’ll be ahead.

I’m not happy with Trump, but Biden can’t possibly be any more competent.

Well if we look at job creation, the last 3 years of Obama/Biden created 8 million jobs. The fist 3 years of Trump (excluding pandemic) created 6.5 million jobs. I’m not making any real conclusions here, just pointing out that Trump couldn’t keep job creation momentum going that had been created while Biden was in a

If you look at, say, Europe’s recovery from COVID 19, or South Korea, and then look at the US .... you don’t think a better government response to reign in COVID would have had massive economic upsides?  Europe is back at work now, so is SK.

Biden can’t possibly be any more competent.

It depends on whether you view the people that do the work or the person who put up the money as the important ones. In the US, the person who provides the capital is seen as THE reason for a business existing...not the ones who make the company work, who provide daily innovations, who sacrifice their time and effort

It’s your idiotic socialist agenda... it’s you own self hatred of people that do better than you do and thinking that you should be entitled to their wealth.

In a consumer driven economy that capitalism needs in order to survive, calling the concentration of wealth into a percent of a percent of the population as suboptimal is an understatement.

It is indeed good for him. It’s not like he wrote the rules for capitalism/corporate socialism, after all.

I take it as a compliment. I actually care about the welfare of other human beings? Why thank you!

no, applauding this insane concentration of wealth and income disparity just because you like what rich guy does is bootlicking.

Nah, cause he’s a weird asshole who got super lucky to be born wealthy, then lucky again to get in on the dot com boom at the right time, then even luckier that tax credits and carbon credits have been propping up Tesla. SpaceX is the only thing he's done on merit and he's just the money man there.

licking the boots of a billionaire won’t make you rich.

Yes, companies invest in meeting standards to make money. No major company is going to forsake the California market because the standard is different.

There is a lot to unpack here...
