Even if there wasn't a second season, or if the rest of the show dropped off in quality for some reason, this season would work so magically as its own thing, a novella to BREAKING BAD's epic novel.

That Belize line is the encapsulation of how the best BREAKING BAD references on this show should be handled. A nice line that serves as an in-joke for fans, but also doesn't alienate newbies.
