The one part I liked was Ray being out of touch and delusional, longing for the good old days. That was a Lord/Miller-esque bit of meta humor.

And not just the men, but the women, and the children too.
The ISIS are easily startled, but they'll soon be back, and in greater numbers.
The vet is definitely going to put Mike in contact with Nacho.
I was shocked at how hard that ending hit. I forgot to breathe a little during that last shot.
I am 100% pro-Chuck after this episode. Michael McKean was outstanding. The inevitable horrible end to Chuck and Jimmy/Saul's brotherhood is going to break my heart.
The reveal of a clean shaven Will Forte was easily the biggest laugh of the episode, even when I think everyone knew it was coming.
I had the same reaction when I saw the grade, but then the opening line of the review made me remember that there's gotta be some person out there watching this show who's never seen BREAKING BAD. So I think it's a fair point.
Or the Ebola leaks!
As a fan of BREAKING BAD, this episode was tremendous. Jonathan Banks reached a new level.
Was anyone reminded visually of PULP FICTION at the diner where Mike ate his breakfast?
I'd be more worried (if I was at all) about them having him meet loads of former BREAKING BAD characters he never interacted with before, in addition to them building him up as too much of a badass. Like I said, though, Gilligan/Gould clearly have no interest in going that route, and that's a blessing for us all.
This was probably the weakest episode, but it was still a blast. Gilligan and Gould have earned my trust in that I believe that they're not going to let Mike's incoming storyline become fan service.
I'd probably go for a GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY vibe and just go straight for the childhood nostalgia. For example, I'd somehow swipe and then live inside the Millennium Falcon.
The insane ridiculousness of him running into the street in the space blanket definitely tipped me completely to the "crazy" side.
BETTER CALL SAUL is on a very interesting trajectory. Jimmy is a former con man who's attempting to go legit, but the promise of power threatens to drag him back down into the depths at every turn. And tragically, we know that it eventually will.
His absolutely ridiculous hair is what totally made it.
It basically confirms for me that he's mentally ill.
Kives from HELLO LADIES was the guy Jimmy ripped off in the cold open!
I won't deny that I'm sort of curious. Maybe all Blomkamp really needs to rein in his worst impulses is a franchise template.
