My reaction was one of increasing delight as the scene escalated, culminating in a fit of hysterical laughter at "no one will ever believe you".

I just started South Park: The Stick of Truth, and it's fantastic. It's so much better than recent seasons of the show that it's shocking. It's basically everything you could ever want out of a South Park game.
God, what a show. Breaking Bad left and I didn't know what to do with myself. And then this thing comes along and fills the void immediately.
"Perhaps you'd hoped I had".
How has no one posted the best line of the night yet? V's voicemail
His stone face of rage while Brendan Gleeson chews him out gets me every time.
The shirtless Hitchcock gag is the gift that keeps on giving. I laugh louder and louder at it every single time.
I'll be honest: this show's entire existence has been justified by Gerald Jimes alone.
Quantum does probably have less plot holes overall. However, it's also a poorly filmed, soulless, CGI-filled exercise that basically abandons everything that distinguishes the Bond character and basically Bourne-izes him. It does not resonate whatsoever, whereas Skyfall, flaws aside, gets to the heart of what makes…
I will agree that Skyfall follows the Bond formula to a T, but it does it for a very specific reason: so it can completely twist that formula on its head. Sure, it's got all the familiar Bond story beats: exotic locations, showdown with villains, seduction, etc. But the key is that it uses them to tell an intimate,…
For some reason, I thought it was hilarious when his AllState commercial with him as the dog popped up during one of the breaks.
Wow. My opinion goes a bit against the beaten path, but that one is interesting. Care to elaborate?
I always felt a weird disconnect with From Russia with Love. It's not the movie's fault, but the only scenes I ever really got into were the Blofeld stuff and the ending. I felt like Goldfinger was a better template for what the Bond films would be going forward, along with the fact that I simply find it more…
The counterattack timing was actually something I forgot to mention. I settled into a rhythm early on and barely ever got hit, then they changed it up (presumably to up the difficulty) later in the game, which just made it like relearning the controls again, which felt tedious. And yeah, most of the time I coasted on…
I love that they integrated Boyle's insane wardrobe with the Icarus metaphor.
Friday: Rewatched Skyfall. It was a movie I was not over the moon for the first (or even the second) time around, but the third time really hit the sweet spot. It may be the best Bond film ever (although I think that Casino Royale is underrated in some circles, along with the obvious choices of Goldfinger and On Her…
That may actually have been some of Zimmer's score. He was reportedly working on it before the movie had even been cast or shot, and he did mention in an interview that he wanted to come up with something unique in contrast to their previous work together.
I want Cohle to engage in a lengthy philosophical discussion with BOB. I think they'd have a lot to mull over.
God, the show's been good so far, but it went straight to the top of current TV this week.
I need to go on Internet hiatus every summer from now on. In the last few years alone, I've had the endings of Prometheus, Skyfall, Star Trek Into Darkness, Iron Man 3, Thor 2, and TASM spoiled by unmarked reviews/comments. Only reason I avoided the other blockbusters was because I saw them too early.
