I dislike exclusives in any context as much as the next guy, but there’s a significant difference between buying smaller studios and funding their new exclusive projects yourself (Sony) and buying juggernaut studios so you can lock down their already dominant IPs (MS).

The somehow even more fucked up part about all of this... anti-abortion assholes are saying “You didn’t read the whole story, she was able to go to Indiana”. Like somehow having to cross state lines to get something she could have got locally last week is NBD and that things are still normal.

I am so beyond angry. Look, this won’t affect me - I am past child bearing age, I am white and privileged, and I moved out of country over 15 years ago. But I am still FURIOUS and terrified for those it will affect.

I’m sure you’re as aware of this as I am, but for anybody else who might not be aware: the folks saying that their shitty views deserve to be respected don’t actually care about tolerance. They’re just using the language of tolerance to try and defend being bigots.

It’s been 16 years since FF has gone full fantasy. The trailer looks great technically, but I’m underwhelmed by the gameplay. It seems to be a mix of hack and slash and Soul-like tactical combat, and just doesn’t look interesting.

Part of me is afraid that Open World Street Fighter will be like Open World Dynasty Warriors. Aka, terrible.
