Answer:yes and very much yes. It’s for these reasons that I hated Alfred in AK. He was a mechanical quest giver that only layered in exposition. He lacked personality and depth.

I think Witcher 3 releasing in the same year as FO4 really cast a shadow over Fallout and is responsible for a lot of people being more critical of Bethesda’s execution.
