I’ve been on Balmung since 1.0. They locked it off ages ago from CC so I figured it would handle the launch better but I think the horde of returning subs are to blame. Hopefully it evens out soon.

Closes game. Opens launcher. Logs in. Presses Play. Presses Start. Enters Queue. Waits. Waits more. Server dumps Queue. Closes game. Rinse and Repeat.

How is your connectivity? It’s atrocious on Balmung with server drops and long queues that have a habit of dumping you out once it gets to double digits. Just getting in has been a chore since Early Access started.

I get what your saying and agree with your last sentence. There is no entitlement here.

This was directed at the longtime/regular players that have kept the game alive by playing it. We all know MMO survival is tenuous at best without a decent community surrounding it. I only meant that there is nothing wrong with Anet rewarding players who have stuck with them since the game release.

This is true. I would also argue that longtime players should have gotten an additional character slot with the Expansion so they could play the new class. I mean FFXIV HW gave a fantasia (character appearance re-roll) with preorders of their expansion so players could enjoy the new race without having to shell out…

DLC is great. Daud and his story are more fleshed and interesting than Corvo’s. Daud is also a better character. I loved the DLC more than the main game.

It’s why I love this game. I’m not that good but its so much fun trying to be and doing creative fun things to clear the levels. This is one of the few games I will tell someone they are playing wrong if they find it boring. It’s as fun as you invest in using the tools the game provides. :)

Bulma?

She pretty much IS the plot of the game, without her everything falls apart. She has plenty of self-agency and bascially comes in and takes everyone’s world upside down before basically sacrificing herself for the world...and saving it in the end.

Mods, son. Anything is possible with mods.

I’m doubting the customization Wil be deep enough and I’m betting I’ll be tired of the Arkham combat system once I’m through with AK. Mad Max will be a steam sale buy for me.

As long as it’s optional and doesn’t change the Canon. Other people can do as they please. I still think it’s incredibly stupid. People didn’t like permadeath when they weren’t used to it; we’re in a post GoT world, They should be used to it.
