Okay, I'm not trying to stir up a hornet's nest here but I'm curious: what in the Samuel Langhorn Hell does anyone need 60 different bottles of wine for? I mean, what's the difference? There's red and white. Is there that much of a difference that one needs to own 60 at a time?
THIS a hundred times this! Besides, all the codecs are out there freely available. I'm sure most people who install Ubuntu as a desktop install immediately install Mediabuntu.
I can't say that I ever quite got the hate for the Post Office. I always enjoyed getting maid and I still mail letters to elderly family members. They pick up my mail from my post box and drop off new stuff there 6 days a week. What's not to like?
They usually come with no fees as far as I can tell and outside of locking the money away there really isn't a downside. These days no one gets interest from a bank savings account so at least it's out of sight and out of mind.
I know a few people (a couple of them poor and some were just poor with their spending habits) who joined Christmas clubs at their banks. The money was auto deducted from their paycheck and so they never saw it. Come November they got a big lump sum thrown in their checking account all ready for Christmas spending.
This is a very simple thing to say for those who know better but then, if consumers weren't demanding a return of layaway, stores wouldn't be bringing it back.
Restaurant Supply aluminum half sheet pans are approximately $6 each by me. That's far from expensive and they will last a lifetime if you take care of them.
Webstaurantstore.com is where I get mine. You can probably get it at your local restaurant supply store. Check your Yellow pages.
True, though some people do like scents I guess but then that also limits the uses (diluted bleach without added perfumes and dyes is a great tool to disinfect a cooler for example)
I went to England on my honeymoon a few weeks back. I didn't touch a computer for over a week and outside of the long boring times waiting for our delayed plane in the airport, I never missed having my email.
I can't use Tide either. I like how many detergents now have a version free of dyes and scents so there are many more I can use now.
One thing I buy at Dollar Tree is their brand of Aleve. Seriously, 15 capsules for $1 is a steal! I've also had good luck with the dollar version of Campho-Phenique as well.
That's *mostly* true. Sometimes the Dollar store or store brand detergents and bleaches have their own funky scents in them that make me break out in an allergic rash. If you don't have horrid skin like mine then go ahead and buy the cheap stuff!
Hear Hear! At the time I remember telling everyone how great it was. Only my youngest sister seemed to agree with me then.
Totes agree! All my honey comes from a local beekeeper. It tastes much better and actually tastes like something besides syrup. Real honey will taste like what the bees were around.
I usually use Vuze for the rare occasion I use BT but I'm open to trying Deluge.
If you've used a computer for more than a few hours you can get a decent install of Linux that's just as usable as a Mac. Support on the other hand ...
The part about flour is just plain wrong. I'm sorry but the flour you use DOES make a difference. If I'm making bread, I only use King Arthur. In a pinch I might get the Gold Medal but I won't get store brand flour. Why? The protein levels are too inconsistent. King Arthur Unbleached has a higher protein level (more…
I used to buy Wet n' Wild black nail polish. As a man I don't know how it performed as a nail polish but it was great when I was repairing camera bellows.
