I find cooking therapeutic after a long busy day at work. Sometimes I do cheat and eat sandwiches or just oven baked chicken with rice (made in the the rice cooker) and raw vegetables, though.

$1 for fresh dough at Walmart Super Center in upstate NY. I just paid the same at Price Chopper last week. Price Chopper also has "Take and Bake" pizzas that have everything on them but you just throw them in the oven and bake them. They are alright but I'd prefer to make my own.

IBM Model M is the greatest keyboard ever made. No matter what you use it for, it's awesome.

So do you guys use Imitation Vanilla extract? That's made from wood! (Vanillin isn't just found in rare exotic lily beans ya know)

As an New Englander of English descent (with cheese making in my family) I don't consider American cheese to be cheese either. I've had many French cheeses and I consider them to be more runny foot gunk than actual cheese.

pre-shredded cheese dries out (especially if it's frozen) so it will never melt the same way.

This is the same country that made soy-sauce from hair. Now shut up and eat your soylent green.

I'm not quite sure why frozen pizza exists. It tastes like cardboard and has enough preservatives to choke a horse.

Nothing for me specifically up in the northeast but there are great deals to be had on Back to School items at various outlets. I picked up some Composition notebooks at Staples for $0.40 each. They are fountain pen friendly and I actually ripped one apart yesterday and cut it into 7"x5.5" sheets to be folded into

... respectfully yields to South Carolina.

Just a friendly reminder that if you love Retro Game Master be sure and pick up Retro Game Challenge from the nice folks at XSeed. It's about $15 and quite frankly one of the best DS games I own. I wish they'd bring the sequel over. :(

The game looks boring and generic but I'm looking forward to the inevitable boob flashing cosplay. Don't disappoint me, Japan.

Yeah I don't quite get it either. I love gaming and when I was a kid I could sit for hours playing an NES game until I beat it. Now I want to get up after an hour or so and go for a walk, go for a swim, have some "alternative exercise" with my woman etc.

A GOOD LSL game? I don't know if that's possible. But yeah, that cover is quite classic. I've played the game before and it's actually kind of funny. I do like the disclaimer at the bottom too.

Just make games and I'll be there. :)

First off - calling the Tea Party neo-Nazis screams of ignorance despite the whole Godwin's Law thing. I fail to see how a group of largely Libertarian Conservatives would equate to a National Socialist ideal of full government control (even over who lives and who dies.)

If you live in New England, check with Dig Safe BEFORE you dig! If you live elsewhere, check with the equivalent people or organization.

I totes remember playing the shareware to that. They should actually rerelease that or make a sequel or something.

I still think the Gamecube is the best cheap console out there. They can be had for almost free these days!

If your PS3 isn't BC and you want to play some PS2 games go for it.
