Not going to GenCon, but I am excited for more news about Starfinder. My group plays Pathfinder and tried Shadowrun (but we were intimidated by the rules), so another chance at sci-fi sounds awesome.

How’s the replayability? I keep meaning to pick that game up.

I love how Kotaku got you hooked on Witcher, Riley. That makes me happy.

Does something like this exist for Pathfinder? My group is going to separate sides of the country at the end of summer and we want to continue playing. I know some places like Roll20 and others exist but they seem tough to learn and manage.

Holy shit, Treasure Planet. That would be perfect. It’s made for Kingdom Hearts.

Yup. A boring LG character usually comes from a bad player or a bad DM. If your “choices” all have morally unambiguous consequences, then players are only going to make the obvious choices. As a DM I know it’s really hard (and frankly I do a terrible job at presenting ambiguous situations, but my players also prefer a

Good parenting. Very good parenting. Well done, person.

Love these. They ought to be framed and on a wall, somewhere.

Your hot take is rejected to the maximum extent to which I can reject a personal opinion not belonging to me. Uncharted 4 was a breath of fresh air to the series. The new mechanics were fun and intuitive, and the old mechanics were perfected. The story was just as fun as the rest, although I really missed the

Are there really people throwing Burch under the bus as an actress? I mean, you can say what you want about unions or strikes, but she’s a fantastic voice actress. And I can’t say that of too many people in the VA field. More than 5, less than 15.

...sigh

Depends on how Kotaku handles it. If they release links to the documents themselves in the interests of “journalistic integrity” (which Gawker subsidiaries doesn’t give a damn about, though Kotaku does a better-than-decent job of it), that seems very low. If they discuss it as a news story and encourage people not to

Fight me, Greg.

Yeah. (In my opinion, as a storyteller) the father/daughter dynamic is one of the greatest stories that can be told. There are so many good reasons for why, but at the end of the day every man (not speaking literally) wants to be a father and every girl remembers what it’s like to be a daughter (my condolences to

Just.... you don’t need to fight this fight. I give you permission to not respond to obvious bait. You have one internet face on your side. (me)

That’s a pretttty old game. Also, said spoiler happens within the first hour of the dozens you’re going to put in. Really not spoiling anything, bud.

I had a teacher who did this, and it was great. Sarcasm is a tool that should be used lightly and sparingly in the classroom, because situations like this happen. Though it is in poor taste, there’s no reason to get up in arms about any of this. The whole thing is an overreaction.
