Reddit has said that if you hold the walk button (square on PS4 I believe) while you interact, it makes it much better. I haven’t begun playing yet, but most people have reported success with that trick.

While other games (VI, cough) were empirically better, I think I liked VIII a lot more. It’s got something going for it that I can’t quite place. I love Squall’s arc, the music is phenomenal, and the combat is probably the best ATB ever got.

Yeah, that scene was corny as hell and it’s still one of my favorite moments in gaming to this day.

I think they even DO like each other, but they’re teenage boys and they often express that by butting heads. Or, swords. Sword blades. Whatever.

I appreciate the need to include the train suplexing gif, but... SABIN AND EDGAR ARE LITERAL BROS. Also they have probably one of the most touching sidestories in any FF game that I’ve played (out of X, VIII, VI, Type-0, and very soon XV).

I left my copy of FFXV at home while I finish up this semester at university. I was very sad, but it looks like I’ll get to enjoy the crown update and hopefully the winter pack when I get home (Dec 18). Maybe I’ll get these new features on a NG+
