The graphics are perfection, the combat looks amazing, the bromance is still definitely there.... add a killer soundtrack to the mix, and I don’t think I’ve ever wanted a game to release as badly as I’ve wanted this. This is literally my dream game and I don’t think I’ll be disappointed no matter what direction they

I’d place it JUST above ZeldaU, but that’s just me. I think it’s the bromance that does it for me. Link is such a lone wolf, which makes him a badass, but it also makes the series a bit lonely. That might just be my overactive imagination talking, though.

It’s not like X in any way. It’s more like a well refined Kingdom Hearts system, if that helps. (This is from my experiences with Duscae, btw. Obviously I haven’t played the latest release.)

I got the Ep.Duscae demo, and I was blown away. It’s sort of a mixture of Kingdom Hearts and the ATB system, if that helps anything. If you ever played The Last Story (by Mistwalker) then that is the closest comparison I can think of. TLS is one of my favorite combat systems of all time, for the record, so I’m

I haven’t been this excited about a game in years. This looks like everything I ever wanted in a video game. Ugh. I just can’t wait. I’m glad they’re taking their time though, I wouldn’t want them to rush it.

That’s pretty fucking awesome.

Whew, going through all these old memories of the game really make me all nostalgia-happy. Thanks for having this conversation!

I’ll try my best to swallow my fanboy pride, but honestly I don’t think it’s in the way of this. I’m very passionate about literature, and especially the idea of narrative. I think that a formulaic story can at the same time be inventive. FE:RD fell into a lot of cliche, but it was a children’s game (let’s be honest).

I thought RD was an A++ story. How often do you get a story out of a video game that rivals many fantasy books?

I’m not sure who you’re arguing with, exactly. Or what you’re arguing. At some point there must have been a coherent thought in there, but...

Awakening resorted to fan-service to revive an otherwise dead game series. I’m glad they did, because more Fire Emblem is an amazing thing. But I’m with you here, I wish they would return more to the core elements: challenging gameplay with A+ stories. No distractions along the way. It’s hard to feel like a desperate

That’s what I was thinking. “It’s, uh, for my girlfriend. You can’t see them underneath jeans, right?”

I didn’t mean random as in picked out of a hat, I meant random in the sense that the selections were not manufactured by the company.

Heh, I was thinking much the same thing. No random selection of forum users has screen names that sterile.

Yes, but that was a common criticism of the movie. A small one (didn’t bother me too much) but one that certainly would have improved the movie.

Because we’re not biased shitheads at all here at Jezebel, are we...

Right-wing conservative here. Most of you hate my guts. I utterly abhor Bernie’s stances most of the time, but I just want to say that I respect him tremendously as a person and as a politician for having the balls to work against his own legislature. He’s easily the most sincere candidate running right now, and while

“The other side” has Donald Trump supporters, can you blame us for getting a bit... nasty?

Republican here. Can confirm. Although we might disagree on those terms of regulation a bit, I like a lot of what you said.
