I was an early adapter and it's good that the Vita has finally reached the point to where it can (for the most part) do this with the PS4, but man, I was really hoping those features came years ago. I didn't even realize how long it's been.

Fungi reproduce via spores, so their plumbing is going to be a lot different than the sexual dimorphism seen in a lot of mammals. I'd suspect that the gendered appearance is more of a cultural adaptation.

It's still just running old content over and over. The gear you get for marks is also always less good than one that spawns in the wild. God, this game is just gross.

they needed more testing, as the game at launch showed. Their light system was just painfully tied to other systems, like drop rates, that made the hours spent kind of useless. If gear doesn't drop in the nightfall or raid run you might as well not come back until next Tuesday, and dlc with a new raid won't fix

What is the useful effect of this system though? In the end everyone who is over level 28 looks the same b/c that's the only way to be stronger. It's literally one of the worst systems I've ever seen.

Why you keep playing? Probably works out a bit like this. You wanted a:

Destiny for many is like compulsive gambling. You know it's bad, you're losing big time so often, the rewards are few and far between, and ultimately you could be spending your time with much better activities...

It's possible YouTube has affected the market in that way (are there any stats on that?) But everyone who plays video games and knows how to internet (which I'd wager includes most Kotaku readers) knows that you can watch video games on YouTube. I seriously doubt Kotaku posting about this still negatively impact

If that was true then YouTube would have killed the gaming market years ago. There's a big difference between watching and playing. Some fun games are incredibly boring to watch other people play.

One Piece is king for a reason, has had great writing since day one. Naruto has dipped in quality and Bleach has been terrible for years.

Now playing

Good news and bad news, Skullgirls fans: the 2D fighting game's third DLC character, the Egyptian-inspired sorta-blood-mage Eliza, is out now on PC and PS3, free for the next three months. The game's Vita and PS4 versions, however, have been postponed to early 2015. Look above for a taste of Eliza's fighting style.

It's obvious, she's searching for clothes.

I think they kinda blew it on the design here. The exterior of the handheld should have looked like the original console: grey bottom half, white upper half with the strip on the side. The interior meanwhile should have looked like the original game pad with red buttons, grey D-Pad, and the rest. Not sure what could

That's...curry. Not sauce!

You do realize the 3DS was released back in 2011 right? The XL arrived back in 2012. What should they do? Wait for you to finally get one and then make their company plans?

I've got to call bullshit on this. The game faults are outweighed exponentially by it's awesome soundtrack, unique fighting game play, amazing crafting system, not to mention the 80+ unique endings depending on your choices. Compared to the first Star Ocean it's not as good but it still is one of the best JRPGS of the

You're not the only one who's crazy about MGO. Believe.
