Yes and no. They've always been vulnerable to shells, but since you couldn't lift shells in the first game (and because pipes are elevated surfaces where shells can't slide), this was not a feature in the first game.

MGO was amazing too bad it no longer exists. I really think the Konami ID had a huge part in the community going away as well. You couldn't use a standard password and you had to type your email and password out with a controller everytime some the save my sign in thing never worked. But the gameplay was amazing.

Why, CGI, WHY!?

Funny thing about Alpha builds.. they are usually a cobbled together mess used internally as a proof of concept years before a AAA games release, typically not available to the public.

Perfect example of why the Slow-mo feature is cancer and promotes run and gun as opposed to stealth. Why bother sneaking if you can just pop the guy who spotted you before he can be alerted?
