I encourage more games in the vein of Breath of the Wild, buuuut those comparisons do make it look more plagiarism than inspiration. It looks like an interesting game, but well maybe it’s apparent why.

Here’s where my other problem with “metroidvania” comes into play: It’s at odds with the language we use to talk about video game genre.

man, i hate that. i know how shitty it feels to have your favorite game get its servers shut down. RIP metal gear online (mgs4 version). i was lucky though, cause they actually extended the life of that game, increasing server up time by quite a bit. had it been cut early?...man.. that fucking sucks. sorry warhawk…
