those animated breasts are so stupid and unnecessary. what in the world?
no skullgirls? :(
my hopes aren't totally dashed since Ness is getting an Amiibo. I mean, I doubt they'll be making a new Earthbound/Mother game any time soon. Also doubt they'll be making a new Gyromite or whatever R.O.B. game. So if they'll make an Amiibo for a character with no discernible game future then why not another?
still no R.O.B.? :(
Well, yes bye is short for goodbye, but bros. isn't short for brothers, it's an abbreviation. Like Mr. for mister or Ms. for miss, you still pronounce it mister and miss. I mean, of course you have the freedom to pronounce it however you damn well please, I'm not questioning that, but according to the laws of English…
I dunno what you're talking about, I always pronounce Mr. as "murr" and Mrs. as "murrs". Dr. as "durr". Etc. (as etch). (etc.)
Yeah, saying "bro" or "bros" really is just a slang way of saying brother/brothers. "Proper" form would be pronouncing the full word, but do we really care about "proper-ness" nowadays? Nah, bro.
The announcers in the games say the full "brothers", not pronounce the abbreviation as a word. I know for sure they do in Melee. So, like, why is this a question? Same goes for Super Mario Bros., it's not "bros". It's an abbreviation, you don't pronounce an abbreviation as if it's a word, you pronounce what it's…
Doesn't the announcers say "super smash BROTHERS _" in the games? I know he does for sure in Melee. So, like, the bros/brothers pronunciation shouldn't even be a question.
Great piece! I love the idea of Earthworm Jim, love him as a character and Doug Tennapel's art and design work, but the actual games were....well, not...good. The controls were too ambiguous, it was difficult to tell where on the level you could or couldn't stand, which is detrimental for a platformer, and the combat…
But no Baiken ... :(
Maybe DLC?
looking through some of the comments it seems you're right, it has misled people.
It's definitely a team of human players versus another team of human players. The co-op part, I think this Luke guy meant, is it's a team based game. You know, like most online shooters. I don't know why he chose to call it co-op.
It looked more like a Rescue Mission mode of some sort. They were infiltrating and taking intel of some sort instead of the GA-KO in MGO2. TDM would've been just fighting.
Yeah MGS3 had the first, and MGS4 had, I personally think, the best one. Peace Walker's was dumbed down, cause, well, it was designed as a portable. But man, MGO2 was some of the best multiplayer experiences I've ever had. Can't wait.
Well, MGS4 wrapped up the story with Solid Snake, but this is about Big Boss's story and his road to becoming the main villain of the first Metal Gear (MSX and NES). There's plenty there to tell, not really any wedging. By the end of MGS4 you didn't learn anything new about that, you just knew for some reason he…
This article, while brief, shows there was no prior research into the topic. Metal Gear Online has, since the first one on MGS3, always been a component of a main title, not a totally separate game. I'd think a game journalist would have figured that out beforehand? Or is this article meant for people not in the know,…
Metal Gear Online! Metal Gear Online! METAL GEAR ONLINE! (yaaaay!)
So we've got lots of variations of lightsaber. We have the classic non-curved katana-esq kind, the Darth Maul bo staff kind, now a new knight's/broad sword looking kind.
Now we need an actual sabre kind, dagger kind, rapier or fencing sword kind... there are so many possibilities. And with the bo staff already cannon…
