I think you may be a bit confused here. MGO isn't a brand new game separate from MGS Phantom Pain that's coming out next year, MGO is a mode within Phantom Pain. Does that help?

The new MGO is announced! Finally! They recognized it exists! What a nice thanksgiving.

Poor comic bubbling form. The highest word bubble in a panel is generally regarded as spoken first. Right now it reads as "I appreciate that" "i will craft you better pants, cassandra.". The screenshot is not set up for word bubbles, of course, but for proper comic word bubble placement form you may want to raise the

thinking along the same lines, if they're mushroom people then how far does the mushroom part go? it'd be spores if it extends to reproduction, like you said, so any gendering wouldn't or shouldn't be anatomy-based. purely personal aesthetics from mushroom person to mushroom person.

With a character as iconic as Sonic you can't redesign too drastically. Even a less iconic character like Bomberman had that Xbox game and it was totally unrecognizable. You need to ease into changes as big as ones seen in these concepts.

People like the idea of Sonic, we want to like him and his games, we all know

well said. and based on those promises you invested all that money into the game and the console so it's like well might as well try and get money's worth.

i think the leveling mechanic sorta reflects Destiny's design as a whole: cobbling together multiple game genres hoping it works. There's a clear divide in the leveling system, each type of system they use works best for a different type of game design they seem to be aiming for. Like a mixture between FPS shooter

my friend and i only really play games we can play together. we used to set up MGO and play together in the same room with two tvs and always get on the same team. we've been patiently biding our time until the next MGO comes out (hopefully with Phantom Pain? haven't heard anything on it in forever) and we've settled

dude they actually made it to the exit in the pilot here! but it's not the same Mikey thing. No music, barely any sound effects or animations...

It always drove me crazy they NEVER got Mikey to the Exit square.

I think this topic would make quite an interesting research paper.
Well, Kotaku is a really popular site and more casual gamers that wouldn't think to go to youtube for that are gettingvit fed to them here, but you're right, the type that would sit and watch the videos are probably searching for it anyway so Kotaku's

i just know there are some games i watched a few videos of rather than pay to play them that before the advent of youtube or twitch or such i would have bought or rented instead. i don't think it will destroy the game industry, not saying that, but it can definitely negatively effect smaller companies and high risk

don't you think articles like this sorta deter people from purchasing games? why buy it when you can experience it second hand like this? wouldn't these sorta articles hurt kotakus bottomline in the long run? no one has to bother buying games> people can't afford to make games> no content to write reviews of?

I'm liking the sound of this new approach to game journalism. I hope you'll give such post-release focus to the next Metal Gear Online when (or if) it's released.

not all that unusual. they make hygiene products with licensed characters here in the states all the time. shampoo, soaps, tooth brushes and pastes, etc. Feminine hygiene products isn't any more strange than those sorts of things. But, I mean, it's neat there's a sailormoon version.

Supply and demand.

Agreed, but Bulma is the type to pick up arms to fight when her loved ones are threatened. So whenever Red Ribbon Army and Dr. Gero inevitably attack then I can see her taking resources to counter their attempts at world domination.

I love this theory. Bulma rocks and minus Goku she could only rock harder. Although her original motivation wasn't anything like saving the world, conquering the world, bettering the world, etc it was to find a boyfriend, which is why she was searching for the Dragon Balls in the first place.

KOOPALINGS! I'm in love with this game now.

Can't even be mad about Dr. Mario. Just think of the great pun opportunities. "The doctor is in!" "prescription for pain" etc.

But really, clone characters are far easier to make. With a limited amount of time, would you rather have one brand new character, or three extra characters that play similar to others? Cause
