most of the podcasts by how stuff works are pretty good. In particular: Stuff you missed in history class and food stuff.

the food scene is great. reviews are trustworthy in the more urban areas and be a little weary of good reviews in the burbs.

Don’t get me wrong. there are quite in the industry that are very introverted. But I think that to get ahead soft skills may take you farther then technical skills. Additionally being flexible and willing to not get stuck in old patterns goes a long way. I spend a good chuck of time just studying because “experience”…

guessing it has to do in part with how much more expensive it has become do develop games, even down to a mobile platform. production ready assets have become quite the sink. I support the latest Nintendo approach to making scalable graphics using a custom engine instead, but that kind of effort takes quite some time.

I happen to have an ergodox infinity and i love it. takes a little while to get used to it if you use modifiers a ton, but for the most part all the alphanumerics are in the same place. also, massdrop has it on sale as a kit right now, but you have to solder all the switches and assemble it.
