Yes. It doesn’t seem like a great deal, but I’m not an expert in international negotiations, and I don’t believe most of the people weighing in are, either. It seems to me Russia had us over a barrel. There is absolutely nothing we could have done that wouldn’t have caused a lot of problems. So I’m glad she’s home

Yes, honestly, when I remember her, it’s for union-busting. But I didn’t watch that many episodes, and I don’t think I saw the psycho ones.

I remember even in their heyday, Jon and Kate + 8 always made me think of the Dionne quintuplets. Now it seems like it was potentially even worse.

I’m sure him being defiant and Kate being controlling was (and maybe is) an infinite loop.

Why?!?!

He had sex with two consenting adults, so it’s “demonic”. But it it’s demonic, why are they holding him personally responsible? Doesn’t that means it’s the fault of a demon? Like, he’s possessed and needs help from his spiritual community?

This is....exactly what I thought of Candace Cameron? What’s hypocritical about it? I’m not trying to defend her - she sucks - but it seems pretty aligned with what I know of her.

If you don’t want people asking who it is, don’t mention it at all. Otherwise, you’re just a kid hopping around chanting, “I have a seeeee-cret!” and then getting, yes, sanctimonious when people want to know what it is.

Is she going to be able to access it now, without being tracked? I hope so, of course, but I’m worried.

I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure Keanu Reeves was friends with River Phoenix.

He obviously thought it was an acceptable way to behave in the first place. Why would he apologize? And why would that apology mean anything?

My neighborhood doesn’t have an HOA, but we do have a “night pruner” who is not particularly appreciated. He’s no arborist, and is not doing the trees any good.

It kind of reminds me of Newt Gingrich. Remember when he was outed for cheating on his wife, and he said something like, “Yes, at times my love for this country has caused me to make some questionable decisions.”

It’s funny how so many people change the subject to their own perfection, or lack thereof, when confront with a specific criticism that made no mention of who is or isn’t perfect.

I’d be pretty impressed if I ever saw Trump display an ounce of love and vulnerability towards anyone, including his children. It’s actually really sad. Even the stories they tell that are supposed to be funny are awful.

They don’t see him as potentially innocent, and they certainly aren’t willing to sacrifice their loved one to an abstract concept. I’m glad Adnan is out. I don’t claim enough expertise on the case to have strong opinions on his guilt or innocence, but even if he did do it, I think he’s served a lot of time.

Thank you for this. I hear so many people who I know are aware of our overly harsh and punitive justice system, and still they complain when someone is eligible for parole after, say, 25 years. 25 years isn’t a slap on the wrist - even if you believe Adnan did it, it seems like he’s served plenty of time.

They look so smug when doing those weird hand things, like they’re just sure we’re all seething with envy.

I don’t think she was portraying it as a crime, or even that, on a logical level, she felt she’d been wronged. Also, she said Ellen said that in a Larry King interview at the beginning of her show’s run, which would have been 2003. So still awhile after 1996, but not 26 years.

Having to work not to show any emotion could lead to actually being miserable, I imagine.
