If we’re going to balk every time we have the opportunity to make any changes because we might lose political control, what do we need political control for? We obviously aren’t doing anything with it.

It seems like that may be a human reaction to knowing in his heart his consumption is massively out of wack, and success like his is precarious.

Yes! These sports are obviously lucrative. My own values suggest most of that money should go to the players, which it already doesn’t. If they get paid less, people who do nothing get paid more. How would that be the right thing?

So, fewer men end up in marriages and jobs they never wanted because fewer unplanned pregnancies come to fruition? I knew abortion was good for men also.

I don’t really see why that would particularly mess with his head anyway.

It made both Chris Rock and Will Smith look terrible. I can’t imagine why they would go along with such a thing, even if someone involved in the Oscars wanted them to.

Even if she does “work” long and hard, dollar for dollar, hour for hour, compared to the average person she does not work for her money at all.

If women were paid “fairly”, she’d take a huge hit, so I can see why she isn’t eager to see that happen.

Deepti is clearly superior to him in every possible way, but I’ve been surprised to find myself feeling a little bit for Shake. He seems to be struggling with a lot of internalized racism, and perhaps some other issues that do not allow him to connect with a woman both physically and emotionally at the same time. A

I don’t think anyone thinks he shot her on purpose. That isn’t the issue. The issue is that he’s ultimately (partly) responsible for the expert, having hired her and all. That’s how it works. If she does her job well, her employers get the credit. If she does it poorly, her employers are responsible for that, too.

Than why be a producer?

If he and his production team hired the wrong gun person (no idea what the job title actually is), he is, in fact, responsible. Looks like her family are suing the whole production team, not just him. He’s named in the article because he’s the most recognizable face.

The production company would have been insured. Alec Baldwin may have deep pockets, but not insurance company deep.

Is Whoopi Goldberg especially liberal? It seems like she pisses liberals off at least as much as conservatives, including this particular example.

I haven’t read all the details and don’t know what all he was charged with, but it seems to me this was also attempted murder. It seems like that should also be a big part of the story, and should have figured into his conviction.

I remember that.

Criminal: I know it sounds bad, but I can explain. I had to make her think she was going to die, because that’s the only way I can cum.

Judge: OH! I’m so glad you told me! I understand now. Carry on.

Edited because I misunderstood the original comment.

I totally agree with your stance on criminal justice reform, and if we lived in a vacuum I might be....sort of okayish with this? If it included some other form of rehabilitation and restitution.

Ugly people would like to be seen for more than their looks, too. Perhaps even more so.

Gotta say, my nipples do the same thing. No bra can stop from coming out to say hi.
