I don't know it either but I think I'd just be happy watching Rachel McAdams read the phone book. I really like her as an actress.

I was too busy thinking 'Would you slow the fuck down?!' for that entire scene so I thought he was interested in the guy who was "struck by lightning" which I thought was Vision hitting Rhodey. Your thing is probably the right one though.
Oh, I get it. Yeah, that's true; I did think that during the movie too.
I thought it was supposed to be Rhodey from Civil War?
Your comment is pretty much what I felt was wrong with the movie but I couldn't figure out. As for the last part though: Strange takes over the New York office, no? I don't think we find out who took over the Hong Kong section.
I actually don't want McAdams to become a superhero. I'd love if she stayed an awesome doctor and became kind of like the Claire Temple of the movies. It gets tiring when every single character of substance turns into either a hero or a villain.
Now that you've taught me a new phrase (thanks for that), I can actually address this! Baron Mordo mentions that TAO is Celtic so she's playing her own race but isn't the first or TAO.
Ah.
I skipped the first Captain America for years and I don't think it really effected me that much. I picked up pretty much anything I needed from Avengers. I did have to watch it for Winter Soldier though.
I can't imagine any point where Feige could have thought this wasn't an origin story. No spoilers but I've never seen a superhero movie stay so much in the origin phase for the first film.
Not really sure what you're saying here because I don't understand what 'an a priori' is supposed to be; I genuinely don't know if you're for or against casting actors as other races, but Tilda Swinton pretty much admitted that the reason she was cast is because of China. It's not ideal but Marvel isn't making movies…
Because if The Ancient One was Tibetan, China would have banned the movie in their country. If they had changed the character to another Asian ethnicity, it would have been deemed racist because people would have claimed they think all Asians look alike. The movie added in a point that she's not The Ancient One, she's…
Tony's mom? His dad? Although Howard Stark was in Ant-Man.
Rachel McAdams may not have had as much to do as Paltrow or Portman but her character was much more likeable. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Christine in the sequels.
Realistically, Regina should be in her early to mid 50s and not late 30s and Henry should be about 12 so I wouldn't stress too much about it. Continuity is not a huge thing to the writers which is a shame because when these kinds of stories slot in, it would be a lot of fun for the fans to try and map out the timeline.
What I find very strange is that none of the writers seem to realise that the EQ only has as much information about characters as Regina would have. Sure she might have some new information here and there from wandering around but stuff like Charming's dad? Regina must have known that too. She has nothing against the…
Grindelwald? Evil gay wizard is probably the part he was born to play.
There is only one man I will accept winning Woman of the Year and that man is John Francis Donaghy.
Surely it's not as bad as Elena dating her ex-boyfriend's (the love of her life at one point) brother and constantly rubbing it in his face.
I would argue that getting the male lead in a terrible book adaptation doesn't guarantee you a movie career. Look at Robert Pattinson, he's not exactly up to much now, is he? I think Dornan's work on The Fall is what is getting him other roles, not 50 Shades. These people get famous quickly but it seems like they have…
