Pisses me off to no end. As other commenters have pointed out, literally no one else in that shot is smiling. Even if her dad hadn’t just died, this is a disappointing article to say the least.

I’ve been missing my sweet cocker spaniel for a year now. I adopted her from the shelter without knowing her age and had her for five years. She had chronic health issues and was mostly blind, but she was the sweetest.
