My wife and I considered going steaming only, but our Fios package is only $10 more per month (plus the box fee) than getting the same speed Internet. So it was $80 plus Hulu or YouTubeTV, or $90 plus set box. Honestly, we only watch a few channels, but it’s nice to have live TV. Realistically we’d save by cord

I’d recommend Restoring Jefferson’s America by Clay S. Jenkinson. It does an excellent job explaining how this is our issue. We’ve gotten to the point where people just want a “win” and don’t care for what the other side wants or to compromise. I get it, and it’s why I voted early and voted Democrat on this election.

While private passenger autos are the overwhelming cause of pedestrian fatalities, I take your point because too many people are out driving large vehicles that have no business behind that wheel.

Modern super cars (although we’re arguing more about hyper cars now since even a Corvette blows away Ferraris from not long ago) need the electronic nannies to be driven by the majority of people wealthy enough to own these vehicles. I work with a body shop who’s owner buys salvage super cars from insurance auction

The echo chamber on the right is so insane right now. The gymnastics they are doing to spin this debate as a win for Trump is laughable. I implore everyone to head over to r/conservative on Reddit for a laugh. I sat out 2016, I was a Republican-leaning Independent in a heavy blue state, but after what the senate has

I’ve always had an irrational love for the Sky and Solstice, going back to like 2002 when I had a GM concept car calendar. Hopefully you many years of great service from it!

How has no one mentioned Driven??? I remember being so pumped for that movie as a kid. Then it came out and bombed and I had to wait for it to be on HBO because my parents were not spending money on that. I’ll always remember how Nextel  EVERYWHERE and the scene where they vibrate the manhole cover off the ground. I’d

This Michigan law is pretty BS. I don’t see it as a Pro-Tesla move like some are, this is 100% the dealer lobby winning and saying no one get an exemption except the one brand we’re already not getting a bite of.

Cars being fried by lightening happens a lot. I do a few insurance claims a year for it, and typically try to ensure the car is a total loss early. No one wants to deal with a car that has that kind of electrical system damage. Anyways, on to my suggestion.

That’s my thought, too. If 95% of my driving is in traffic going less than 55 MPH, this is worthless. But, if I can spend $25 for a “month” and get Supercruise to shuttle me on a long, mundane drive up I-95 that makes up the other 5% of my driving each year then I’d be in.

I’ll just throw out I-70 is my least favorite. I’ve never traversed the whole route at once, but over 3 trips through the Midwest I’ve done most of it and it’s just brutal. I-10 is great except for the endless oil wells and cows between El Paso and San Antonio. A combo of I-80 and I-90 is my favorite though for sure.

I referenced my local Caddy dealers a few weeks ago in a different post, but it’s the same sentiment. Both dealers share service departments with a Chevy or GMC showroom and have salesman who push full-size pickups and SUVs. When sales staff push the BOF offerings and the service techs like working on BOF since

My concern is they’re going to pull a Supra and price this way too high, then release a turbo 4 cylinder later for $5k less. The Mustang GT starts around $35k, so I can that being a target price since performance would be comparable. So say a I4 starting at $29,900 and a V6 around $35,000, that would be reasonable

I’m not the biggest fan of all the tech bloat, but damn was it nice to open an app in bed 10 minutes ago and check to make sure my Santa Fe was locked. Wife forgot to hit the button, so I did it from the app and didn’t have to worry about waking up the baby sleeping on my chest so I could go get keys while my wife was

As an insurance adjuster, I see those doors and shiver at A) How much body techs will want to repair minor damage since they’ll have to work so many body lines, and B) How many repairs will need paint on adjacent panels due to all that extra work compared to a more flat panel that a painter could prevent blending. I

Do we really think that many people care?At least the majority who will actually purchase the vehicle? Ford has been moving their lineup towards turbos for 10 years now. The Mustang GT has to have a V8 because that’s what ponycar buyers want. But the truck crowd, and Jeep crowd? Yeah, the V8 is what people say they

I will definitely tune in to Indy Car next year, along with Tony Stewart’s series. It will be refreshing to see some racing that is more dependent upon the drivers skill compared to F1 and Cup racing in recent years. F1 has improved a little when they’re trying to handicap the racing by slowing the Mercs, but Indy

I really can’t think of anyone, let alone someone riding shotgun in a $100k SUV that doesn’t have a smartphone on them at all times. So for entertainment, the screen is pointless, and a well designed dash should allow for the passenger to operate HVAC operations without interrupting the driver. I just don’t get why

It depends on the OEM. Our last Honda had the screen integrated into the dash well, but suffered from horrible glare. Our Hyundai we have now has the “tacked on” screen, but it’s higher up and in a year of driving I haven’t had an issue with glare. It also allows for the same screen to be used across models which

This is why I’m going to check out Tony Stewart’s new series. The idea that it’s all wrapped up in a short span is nice. I wish NASCAR would embrace heat style elimination races from short tracks to the touring series. I think having two or three 100 miles/100 lap heat races to “make the show” for a final shootout
