I don’t think its that. I have no issue with a lbgtq character, but at the same time make it more or less natural. Make it the same way they do the “over the top” male on female love interest/lover. They have tried that, with Valkarie in Thor Ragnarock, but it wasn’t enough, it wasn’t gay enough. Look you wanna have a

Take away AMERICANS voting rights and give them to ILLEGALS. Typical liberal thinking.

Blue Wave is that Tomato guy.

To the extent that “Obama era regulations” directed ICE to not enforce the law, that doesn’t change the law. These are people who were ordered deported, or were deported and then illegally reentered, or are criminals (above and beyond their immigration crimes). They are subject to deportation - which is what ICE

Nero was an actual person who really lived, not a fictional character. There is plenty of debate among historians about how much his successors and opponents altered the historical record about him to smear him and cement their own positions, but it’s definitely a fact that there really was an Emperor Nero of Rome. The writers don’t have to do ANYTHING to signal they are straight/hetro/normal because we ASSUME they are because MOST of the population isn’t part of the Alphabet Soup Brigade that feels they need to wear a sandwich board that says “HEY I AM NOT NORMAL LIKE YOU NANANANANANA NOW ACCEPT ME!!!”

I dont think you have to include hetero thinking or establish straightness. I either dont think about a persons sexual preference in life or film but I assume they are straight just because that’s what is the norm. As in percentage wise most people are straight. Only unless its painfully obvious that they are not

Even when that’s not relevant to the plot? Or does that not even matter anymore? LGBTQ and diversity issues seem to have taken over Hollywood productions in such a way that plot, storytelling, ideas, etc. are now secondary. Not to mention good ol plain FUN...

Do they though or is it just an assumption people make? Take Wong from Doctor Strange for instance...I don’t recall a scene that indicated he was hetero, bi, or gay.
