I remember being a teen and being stupid and impressionable. Part of me is just like, teens are always going to do dumb things.

one of the things I’ve noticed is a lot of people put emphasis on paying off debt rather than building savings. for instance a friend had an awesome windfall (around $7k), rather than save that money and build up a safety net he pushed it all towards paying off a chunk of his car. then a few months later he got laid

Unfortunately, the expertise this is mining isn’t from a medical doctor. The assistant professor in this interview is a behavioral scientist who focuses on the societal impacts of tobacco and alternative products.

So the author went and cherry picked a friendly scientist to make an appeal to authority supporting their

LOL check your original post, shit wit.

“VAPING IS HELPING MILLIONS OF PEOPLE QUIT SMOKING LET’S NOT FORGET THIS.”

About 13 years ago I was a smoker looking to quit. E-cigs seemed like a way for me to have the physical sensation of smoking which I missed with nicotine gum or a patch. At that time e-cigs came in graduated nicotine levels INCLUDING ZERO NICOTINE. The fact that Juul refuses to offer a zero nicotine product says to

Juul is partially owned by Altria (Marlboro) and has never been meant to help people quit smoking but to give them an alternative nicotine addiction to combustible cigarettes. Please don’t try and lump actual vaping products designed to help you quit by stepping down to 0% nicotine in with Big Tobacco’s push to get

Seriously, you need help. You are making yourself look incredibly foolish.

I think it’s fun how vapers will talk about how disgusting cigarette smoke is while blowing their who-knows-what Juul smoke in your face and everyone within a 25 foot radius.

As a tool to quit smoking or just an less dangerous alternative to tobacco, vaping is good. But it is quite frankly disgusting that companies like Juul are actively profiting from getting kids addicted to nicotine and I won’t feel the least bit sorry if these laws cause Juul to crash and burn.

I also dislike the fact

Except we don't, because we have forty plus years of research on the dangers of traditional cigarettes; there is minimal research on e-cigarettes and the long term impact of them so comparing them like that is impossible yet.

I mean, cool. But, you know, maybe show some compassion towards all victims of abuse? Maybe we shouldn’t immediately revert to toxic masculinity and say “what a little baby for calling the cops”?

Daniel Giovenco, PhD, MPH

I’m pretty sure at no point in this interview did he say vaping was “perfectly fine”

Glad you did a column fueled by expertise, although I’d still like to talk about how Juul has increased youth addiction. If we’re talking about public health, it has to include the health of the entire public, not just, “Vaping is fine (for adults who are trying to quit smoking).” Opioids are great, for end stage

Esther, man,

This is the hill that you take your stand?

Jesus Christ, Travis Tritt looks like Renee Zellweger disguised as Travis Tritt.

You admitted to being a victim of your boss’ greed so why the fuck would you side with the bosses that are taking your money for your earned benefits and not with the people who are fighting to protect their wages? Why wouldn’t you join fellow working people to get the benefits that the civilized world gets?
