I felt it did. Season 2 wasn't that great but the last season was solid and this season is getting better.

You're right about Shield. It does mention a the MCU but doesn't hinge on their events anymore.

I've hated Olsen as The Guardian and want him to fail miserably every time he goes out there. I did back him though during his speech about 'Who are you to tell him he can't do it?' when Kara was ripping into him.

It was awful right up until it started going alongside the events in Winter Soldier. It's been consistently great since then.

I concur…….. except about Gotham. That show is a mess.

Well we do have to remember that it is Jar Jar who makes the speech advocating Palpatine's emergency powers. He brought about the Empire and is responsible for all the deaths thereafter.

Yeah, Darhk joins Thawne because Sara tells him his whole HIVE/Nuke everyone plan comes to nothing and he dies. He wants a way to prevent this.

Loved the (Vandal) Savage meta commentary. Almost like an admission that he was a terrible villain. You know that conversation that Rip has with George before the gunfight is one that the directors/producers had many times last season.

This genuinely made it an awesome episode for me. Such a throwaway scene but actually brought a lot to the episode. Of course, they'd take the elevator and have to to just stand around for 2 minutes. It grounded them as characters in a way.
