The goddamn level of hypocrisy of io9 using a shot of Batfleck from BvS in a post/mail reply about “fan toxicity” when they nearly led the CHARGE of toxicity against BvS (and the DCEU in general) is LAUGHABLE.

I’ll be that person and say I liked Lost’s finale a lot.

+1 There’s a tremendous amount of irony in an io9 post lamenting the poor performance of a DCEU film when io9 has been cheerleading for the franchise to fail since before MoS was even released.

People decided they would hate it before they even saw it. I liked Justice League a lot.

Because people have different opinions than you? For example, I fucking loved The Last Jedi and felt it did a bunch of daring things, things that made a lot of fans mad, but were good for the franchise as a whole.

Superman mentioned to the general after he destroyed the drone that he didn’t want them following him to see where he hangs his cape. It wasn’t about him not being photographed.

I find the focus people have on this moustache thing to be absolutely bizarre. I honestly didn’t notice it in the cinema (was told about it afterwards) and even in the gif posted above, I don’t see any real difference between the two sets of footage...

Given how ropey some of the other CGI has been on many superhero

Hot Take Incoming:

The Last Jedi’s meant to be a step moving foreword, yet that’s what fans hate the most about it.

The 2016 Ghostbusters was fine.

The 2016 Ghostbusters was fine. It was a movie that, under normal circumstances, would have come and gone with zero controversy. Unfortunately, that’s not what happened. Thousands of (largely male) fans of the original Ghostbusters balked at the idea of their beloved film getting a modern reboot, especially one that

So basically they can’t win? They don’t speak up, we criticize. The do speak up, we tell them to sit down and listen to women for once. Only the few who would manage to craft some unicorn of a statement that set all the feminist hearts aflutter would escape unscathed. This is not how to tackle this problem.

I’m not saying it’s a hard question, I’m saying the way in which she asked it may have thrown him off, and that it’s not fair to judge his attentiveness to the cause on that.

This to me seems more like he just blanked out entirely, which has happened to me a few times when I was questioned on something I was completely aware of and familiar with. Listen I’m all for shitting on people that deserve it, but calm the hell down a bit. Not everyone’s the opposition. The guy was wearing the pin

Aaaaaand here it is, I was waiting for the inevitable article targeting a specific man for his response. And despite the fact that he may have been adequately prepared to discuss it, we’re just not going to mention how Spencer going “Time’s Up on....what?” like he’s three years old may have thrown him off?

They say something, you write a scathing takedown of their inadequate responses.

7. “The Constant” is still one of the best hours of television ever made.

I’m of the opinion that Desmond and Penny is STILL the single greatest love story told on television to date.

I also went through a rewatch of (most of) LOST over the past several months, and besides the confirmation that it is my favorite show of all time, my biggest takeaway was how consistently awesome the music was. Michael Giacchino composed the score for the entire series and made many of the memorable scenes of the

The finale, like The Last Jedi, was good.
