As I was reading your post, I was thinking "Audition". Yeah, except for a couple of moments, I was wondering why exactly I was watching that whole movie and then all of a sudden, WTF?

I almost forgot the possession in the barn scene of The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Crap that was unnerving watching her scream and contort herself. Actually, come to think of it, quite a bit of that movie tweaked me. The melting faces? The walking in a dream talking with some unknown angel, the satanic voices, oh, just…
Ah, Michael, I forgot all about Munich.
That scene in Wolf Creek where the killer severs the girls spinal cord while talking to her about what he is doing and whats happened to her, ughh.
The scene in Zodiac when the reporter is interviewing the guy and you get the sense that he is the killer and the reporter is alone in the house with him. (even though, of course, we know it isn't really the killer.) I just wanted to yell at the screen.
Yeah, I know what you mean, it's a creepy foreboding feeling. Pieces off of someone's body that didn't come off by mistake. The thought of what it must feel like to get your own teeth knocked out, that sickening feeling.
When I was little, those creepy little things that lived in the furnace in Don't be Afraid of The Dark gave me nightmares. I can still see them in my mind's eye perfectly.
Now, I think the last thing that gave me a Holy Shit! moment was in The Others when the children sneak out in the night and find the headstones on…
The Juggalos, the Juggalos, they're in the mall and everywhere, flying high, throwing pies….
On Season 2 of BGC, if I recall, Jennevecia would pee in Tanisha's orange juice, when she wasn't peeing in or on something else.
I think the zombie genre revival is dead.
That big red freshness lasts right through it.
I think something similiar may have happened on Bad Girl's Club as well.
I am almost giddy with the thought of Del Toro as Mo, Carrey with a bunch of weight on playing Curly and of course, Penn. What a could have been.
You are either talking about Turkish Star Wars or Seinfeld, can't really tell which.
Hoo-ah!
I envy you! The cathedral had played Phantom the year before, which is what got my attention, but it had been sold out. I finally did get to see Phantom, accompanied on a wurlitzer, except that it was put on by an old hippie artist guy who apparently thought his own improvised score would be a much better…
No, all is well. I thought I would take the opportunity clarify.
I was referring to the true special effects of this movie, not set pieces and such, I was genuinely impressed with them. It must have taken some real imagination and creativity to get some of that onto film, at such an early time in films development.
Skrillex looks like the love child of Ian Astbury and Corey Feldman.
