The only thing worse than living on cold rocks is dyin on em the rider said. He had been with us for a few days but we didn’t know his name. Earless. That would be a good enough name for a man with no ears on a horse with only one. We asked him how he lost the ears. He cupped his hand and said what and then spit blood

(Turns head and bites fist)

I believe it has to do with the salinity in ocean water. The parasites most harmful to humans can’t live in saltwater. Saltwater fish carry a risk of parasites too, but those are less inclined to be harmful to humans.

yep, sexism and racism are both still major factors in kitchens, as evidenced by the reviewer specifically calling out the 2 WoC chefs for their “bristling” attitudes, but saying nothing about how Joe Sasto was constantly making jerky, whiny remarks whenever he lost challenges. If you don’t leave a credit card tip, DRAW A LINE through the tip line and ALWAYS, with or without a credit card tip, WRITE THE TOTAL on the total line—then NO problem ever. Also: write the same info on your copy and keep it at least until you get your next credit card statement.

I met Carla Hall! She was in town for a food show and stopped into the Brain Store (RIP) where I worked for a hot minute whilst in the hell of finding a job post-law school. She was the SWEETEST. She took my fandom totally in stride and was very low key. She’s not as tall as she looks on TV. I’m 5'8" and after meeting

I just want to say that I was incredulous when Guest Judge said he had cooked at 18,000 feet and after a lot of googling (because my closed captions called the place he worked Kosha Val; it is Courchevel) I figured out that he worked at 6,000 feet. HE WAS SO OFF. THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN THE ALPS IS 15,776 FEET.
